Misato Ichiki
DJ Misato Ichiki is a multitalented artist based in Tokyo, who also works as a beauty creator, brand director, and editor, while traveling between Seoul and New York. She has participated in organizing the United Nations-certified educational event "The Children’s Conference of the Future in Support of the United Nations."
Since her university days, she has been active as a model for JJ and CanCam, as well as a DJ, dancer, and designer. In 2012, she won the Contest sponsored by Akimoto Yasushi, Samantha Thavasa, and JJ, and also appeared in a Samantha Christmas Disney Collection commercial.
As a DJ, she has performed at events such as the Tokyo Girls Collection and has been a regular on YouTube Space TOKYO. In 2022, she released "MIRROR MIRROR" for streaming.
KO KIMURA
Ko Kimura has been spinning as a professional DJ for over 35years. He started DJing in his teens, and was one of the very first DJ to spin House music in Japan. Now he is known as one of the most influential and most talented DJs in Japan.
Naz Chris
Based in Tokyo with a background spanning London, Delhi, and LA, Naz Chris trained under Rock Steady Crew Japan, a branch of the Rock Steady Crew known for their appearance in the movie "WILD STYLE". She has worked as a producer, DJ, MC, and writer for various media outlets and broadcasters in Japan and abroad, covering everything from production to performance. She has also written music news and conducted interviews, including with Derrick May and Claud Young, both of whom have been hailed as the "Gods of Techno".
Recently, she has conducted interviews and covered events for world-renowned DJs and artists such as bonobo, Sampha, LOST FREQUENCY, Dynamic label, Poter Robinson, and Dannic, building deep connections with them.
In 2016, she was selected as an official crew member for "Tomorrowland," a renowned music festival held annually in Boom, Belgium, and was responsible for live broadcasting from the festival. She continues to be a rare young DJ and creator who connects with the global music scene. She is a member of the "Incredible DJs' Salon," organized by the legendary Tatsuo Sunaga. In recent years, she has been selected as a member of "Volcomunity," a group of top creators around the world. She has played a diverse range of music genres at outdoor festivals, club events, and reception parties, primarily in Tokyo.
Since 2017, she has also been involved in social activities for younger generations as a member of "PLAYCOOL" and the "Club and Club Culture Preservation Society," led by Zeebra, and currently serves as the head of the public relations department.
In 2018, she formed the DJ unit "NAZWA!" with Watusi (COLDFEET), based on the concept of "WA (circle)" that transcends "connections" and "barriers" and advocates for "Ring Link Music" with a focus on Balearic spirit. They continue to spread the appeal of Japan's underground culture worldwide.
Watusi
Watusi is a sound producer, DJ and member of COLDFEET based in Tokyo.
COLDFEET is based in Tokyo, Japan's largest and most intriguing city. A duo, the band features composer/vocalist LORI, the daughter of an American clinical psychologist father and Japanese harp-playing mother, and WATUSI, a co-founder of the legendary drum-and-bass outfit Mushroom Head who has produced and played bass on more than 100 CDs.
COLDFEET fuses playful eroticism, sensual vocals and captivating melodies with a lush cinematic ambience, positive, provocative lyrics, and an offbeat humor anchored by the dichotomous themes of personal strength and vulnerability. The result is a unique, inventive sound that retains the appeal of pop while embracing the bite of new wave, jazz and rock. LORI and WATUSI have been influenced by an array of artists, from Devo, Massive Attack and Sade to Gershwin and Ella Fitzgerald, as well as the films of David Lynch and Sam Raimi. This diversity of media and genres is fundamental to the COLDFEET sound.
NAZWA! (Watusi + Naz Chris)
NAZWA! (also known as Watusi (COLDFEET) and Naz Chris (PLAYCOOL/Volcomunity) is a Japanese and an English/Japanese special DJ duo, side group,unit and collaborative project consisting of electronic ,Techno,House and Nu Disco music producers Watusi and Naz Chris formed in 2018. NAZWA! performed at Jakarta 2018. They also performed at the Biggest Night Club in Tokyo "Contact Tokyo","ageHa","Sound museum Vision" and all over the world each other 1998-2018. About Watusi,better known by his another band name COLDFEET,DUBFORCE and TDO, is a Japanese famous Bands, bassist,record producer, songwriter, composer and record executive based in Tokyo Japan.
DJ 246
Starting her DJ career at the tender age of 18, DJ 246 (Nyoro) has held residencies at Tokyo's most respected clubs including Aoyama Club APOLLO, Shibuya The Room, PYLON, Nishiazabu YELLOW, 328, HARLEM among others over the years. While DJ'ing she was also a model appearing magazines, adverts and fashion shows across Japan.
She moved to New York and DJ'd at spots such as Brooklyn Mod, Saki Bar, O-Bed. On returning to Japan in 2000, she compiled and designed the Tokyo Lounge Series 1-4 . She is currently director at HYDRA Records while also playing regularly at clubs The Room, marunouchi HOUSE, DJ Bar Bridge among other shows throughout the capital including fashion events etc. Since 2005 she also holds a regular radio show on 78.4MHz Shibuya FM - "PLAYGROUND" where her crossover style of playing everything from downbeat to dance classics, house and club jazz to electro is widely praised.
From 2009, as one of 4 female DJs, she also produces a Sunday afternoon club event where both kids and adults can enjoy themselves called "PLAYGROUND."
KATIE SE7EN
Katie is a well-known Japanese artist who mixes various shades of House and Techno to create an emotional world full of yin and yang of life. Her dynamic presence in the DJ booth captivates and brings the floor together.
She has released music from several international labels, and her songs have been picked up by renowned DJ/Producer Sasha and Mixmag Asia.
She has been the resident DJ for Bump_ at WOMB since 2020, and her sets have won many hearts. In 2022 she played live on Abema TV, with more than 30,000 viewers. Her mixes have aired on many global radio stations, and she has enjoyed playing at Ibiza beach parties. Her ongoing party, Deeep!, in the heart of Tokyo's trendy Daikanyama district, is also a phenomenal success and a must-visit for anyone visiting Tokyo.
She plays in Tokyo's best venues and events. Some of the prominent DJs she supported in Tokyo include Dubfire, Karizma, Ken Ishii, Studio Apartment, Dosem, Fernanda Martins, Layton Giordani, Kate Simko, Lee K, and Mark Knight.
Katie aims high in her artistic vision. She continuously hones her production skills and creates new conceptual events. With "WEYEKIN," an experimental live session of Afro House and live percussions, she caused a buzz in the Tokyo scene. Her energy and momentum will definitely impact the dance music scene's future.
KATIMI AI
Katimi Ai is a performing artist from Tokyo, Japan. Born of Japanese and Nigerian descent, Katimi spent her youth in her studies and found love in arts with influence from both of her parents ―having a father managing a bar and a mother playing western radio shows at home, music had always followed her. After finishing her studies, she has decided to pursue her passion in music professionally.
In 2015, Katimi followed suit and kicked off her career; with her unique look and charismatic appeal, she quickly became the talk of the town in Tokyo.
In 2017, Katimi traveled to New York to step into new territory and play to begin activations at various venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn which led her return in August 2018 for an activation with Brooklyn based venue Kinfolk 90.
In January 2019, Brooklyn based radio station HALFMOON BK tapped Katimi to be a part of their eclectic roster of resident DJs, the first from Tokyo, Japan.
Katimi has also been producing music.
She has joined a program called “YY project K “ in which she collaborates as a beat maker with Koto player Asuka.
They have just released their first single in May, 2022.
In September 2022, she released her own debut track “Tmbt 2019” on African Tales, a record label founded by Berlin-based South African Floyd Lavine.

akiko
In the year 2001,she became the first Japanese singer to sign with the renowned Jazz label,Verve Records.She recorded her first album [Girl Talk]in France with the famous French producer, Henri Renaudt,released in June the same year. She became the new star stirring excitement in the Jazz scene in Japan.
She was initially famous for her repatroir of over 500 standard jazz songs, but also for her flexibility towards different genres, always molding in new styles for each album she releases.
In previous albums, she has worked with producers such as Swing Out Sister,Tatsuo Sunaga, Yasuharu Konishi(ex:pizzicato five),Bugge Wesseltoft(Jazzland)...
At the same time, she has participated as guest vocalist for artists in different genres such as re;jazz,Hajime Yoshizawa,Studio Apartment,Quasimode...
Other than in Japan, she has recorded in Paris, London, New York, Rio Dejaneiro, and Oslo.
Through these many collaborations, she has met with various artists, musicians, and producers from many different genres, and in each song her versatility as an artist shines.
In 2009, she released a tribute album for [London Nite], a famous Rock party in Tokyo, which she has loved since she was in her teens. As an adviser for the album, she invites Kensho Onuki, the man who brought [London Nite] to life. Through this album, she shows that her roots in music is actually in Rock and not Jazz.
Not only as a singer, she is also known and praised for her ability as a producer. Writing and arranging songs, and also direction for all art work on her albums.
Through her music, fashion and life-style, akiko has become a one and only icon representing a new era in Jazz.
Sakko
Formed in 2011, ONEGRAM is a band based in Tokyo featuring the unique and diverse members who are active in various bands and sessions, as well as reggae singer Sakko from Miyazaki Prefecture. They have been actively performing at clubs and live houses in the city. While their music is rooted in organic reggae rhythms, it also combines urban mellowness and pop sensibility, creating a one-of-a-kind presence.
In the fall of 2016, they released their first album, "GLOWING," with three of the tracks produced by Reggae Maestro=Shunya Mori, who is now leading MATT SOUNDS. The album features danceable content that responds to the support of various genres in the club scene, such as reggae, house, hip hop, and rare groove.
In December 2018, ONEGRAM teamed up with Flower Records and released a 7" analog cover of Alton McClain & Destiny's disco classic "Crazy Love" in a reggae disco style. This song became a huge hit and sold out quickly after its release, even with the additional pressing.
In addition to releasing three more 7" records, they released their second album, "Beginning," in 2019, which received high praise from all directions. The band's momentum continued, and they released a cover album titled "Random Access Music" featuring Takami Nagatsuka as the producer and new co-producer ROCK-Tee, both of whom had worked on their previous album. The album was released in LP and digital format and recorded multiple consecutive hits.
Since 2018, ONEGRAM has also been hosting a regular event called "Grammin'" at Shibuya Club Ball every 4th Wednesday of the even months, which has been popular among fans. Their eclectic band sound, which incorporates the essence of all genres while rooted in reggae, is a realistic pop that connects the past and future of Shibuya, known as "the city of music."
YOKO MASAYAMA
Yoko Masayama is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She formed an organic soul unit "Bard Syrup" while in the university. Her demo was heard and highly commended by Jeffrey Haynes, who is a percussionist well known for Cassandra Wilson and Pat Metheny's support, invited her to NY to record the 1st album "Syrup No.1" (universal IMS) .
In 2013, she released her first solo album "Yoko Masayama" from P-Vine Records. She collaborated with various Japanese Jazz musicians, Jeffrey Haynes and Manouche jazz guitarist, Bruno Jill, in this album. She also performed as a singer in the movie "Tomei Polar Bear" directed by Ryuichi Hiroki (starring Erika Toda and Gaku Hamada).
In 2016, she released her 2nd album "Sing and Sparkle ~ Tabidachi no Uta" (P-Vine) . Her live performances have been praised by audience and critics.
In 2019, she started working on 3rd album "The Songs for 7 Days" . This album was recorded with Dr. Kyojun Tanaka (ex.dCprG,),Ba. Yamato Yasuo (BimBomBan Orchestra),Key. Takeru Yamazaki (P.O.P etc.) and other musicians . Her vocals and the instruments played in the album are joyful in spirit. This album includes BUMP OF CHICKEN's hit tune "TENTAI-KANSOKU(Astronomical Observatory)", in which she expresses the feeling like floating in deep universe.
She creates unique sounds with flavor of swing jazz, Brazilian music, and Japanese traditional pop songs.
